The Colonial is built on treated 4x4's, 2x4's upright are used for joists, spaced 16" on center, 12" for larger buildings. 5/8" 5 ply exterior plywood covers the floor. 2x4's spaced every 16" are used for sidewalls. 16"centers are standard on all styles. 5/8" fir siding is used on outside. Rafters on the Colonial are 2x4's on 16" centers.  ½" sheeting is used on roof covered with 222 lbs. asphalt shingles. The Colonial has a porch and three slider windows with shutters, one window box and a cupola.
